In order to start the process of moving the Cub Foods office over, the last day at Cub Foods will be Friday, September 9. We'll post updates on and in social media. Though the actual date of the branch opening hasn't been determined, we anticipate sometime during the week of September 12-17. ![]() In addition to housing a beautiful new branch with drive-thru convenience, the Minnco Center includes a training area, human resources, Minnco's connection (call) center, administration, marketing and communications, and finance/back-office operations. We will maintain a presence inside Cub Foods with an ATM or interactive kiosk. Most of the Cub Foods branch employees will move to the new location, including Damon Patrick, Branch Manager. It’s also convenient for people fueling up or eating out. It made sense to create a new branch close to where members shop for groceries, clothes, home goods, and tools. The Cub Foods office had outgrown its space, and there were no options available for future expansion. Presently, back-office staff and administration are scattered amongst different locations in different buildings, making it difficult to work efficiently. The second need was for a standalone branch on the east side of Cambridge. The first was for an administrative building with enough space to support current and future staffing requirements. Minnco is excited to move into the new Minnco Center! The new corporate center (which is taking the name Minnco Center from the "old" admin building behind the Cambridge office) was built to address two needs.
